Reflections For March 29

Hosanna is an expression of adoration, praise, or joy. As we walked through the journey to the cross this past week, it was a time to be calm and enter into this special time with Jesus. We are joyful since Jesus came to remove the burden of our past mistakes, and he watches over us. He will keep us from harm. He saves us from death. Last Sunday, Geoff had some questions for us to reflect on concerning our relationship with Jesus. How has Jesus become your friend? How is Jesus our Savior and teacher? Why did people come out to see Jesus? Think about all of those people who were touched by something from Jesus and wanted to come see him. They heard that he cares and understands what people are living through each day. I appreciate that Jesus was a human who lived on earth as we do, and he had to manage to get through each day. We can follow Jesus’ example, and it can help us grow in faith. I hope you had time this week to settle your heart and mind and reflect on what Jesus means to you. Think about how you will change knowing more about Jesus and how he changed the world. Take time to thank God for bringing Jesus into this world to help us walk in the light of God’s grace that removes the darkness of our past mistakes. Reflections from Deborah Kelly.
